who uses what tunings?? guitar

hi my band living in exile uses from bottem to top c# g# e c# f# B or c# g# e c f# D

quite a strange drop down dont you think?

i have made these tunings on purpose for heavy breakdowns aswell asnot copying everyone elce by using drop C or drop C#


i need new pickups what type and breand should i get i got told to get a humbuker not sure about pickups

Well I just use standard tuning, open D, and open G. I only use the open tunings when I play slide.

It really depend on what sound you are going for, good humbuckers all around are burstbuckers, so are ceramic humbuckers. I would go to the local guitar place and try out some guitars with different humbuckers and see what tones you like more. I would go with Gibson humbuckers. Good luck finding the right pair.
