I've only been playing for a year and a half. I'm mostly self-taught. I haven't had private lessons (but I hope to eventually) although I take several music classes at school.

Have had lots of piano lessons off & on since I was six. I actually have a degree in voice but, LOL, seem to be stuck at a certain level in piano. Anyone have tips on sight reading?

Self learning all the way, which is a grand total of 8 months! Despite which, I think I'm doing pretty well.

Not very good at all the Musical Words and stuff, but playing is all right.

umm, well. i am 15 years old, and ive been learning since i was about 5... so about 10 years! time flies!!lol

I started playing piano when I was 8. Flute when I was 9. I started in 1973...I am 43 years old...That would be 35 years or so.

I'm playing since i was 4 and a half years old :D

I've been playing for about 4-5 years. I took lessons on and off with teachers. I learn better self-taught though.

well i started "actually" playing when i was 8.not just fiddling around on the piano.i had 1 month of lessons when i was 10 and i had another month of lessons when i was 16. im now 17.so i have been playing 9 years.

I'm advanced level now.

I started when I was about 6 being taught by my Dad and teaching my self. Started real lessons four years ago and now I'm sixteen and in Grade Seven. Hope I make it all the way!!

ive played scince i knew the alphebet, im 13 now

5 years. Three with one teacher then I switched to another. I played a keyboard for my first year but afterwards I got my piano.

I've been in lessons for about a total of three years now. I started when I was eleven. I'm still taking from a teachter, and now I'm teaching some other kids.

9 years By the way, "The Master is just a nickname I got from this kid in a lower band than me that thinks I'm like, immortal or something.
