I'm assuming that you know how to count eighth notes. The "cherries" on the single stem are just played at the same time. Please tell me if i'm a little unclear.

your notes on there are

E+F SHARP E+F NATURAL E+F NATURAL again E+G AND G+B FLAT

The cherrie ones are played at half beats 2 of thoes makes up 1 beat basically if you were counting in 4/4 time that cherrie one would be counted as 1 2 3 AND 4.

you have a half beat rest and then a half beat at the start so that counts as 1 beat then your next 2 notes are counted as 1 beat and the another half beat and the notes at the end with the double dots is 2 beat even though its classed as 1 beat the double dots represent another beat.

hiope this helps are i am confusing lol

Hey, Thanks a lot. I understand this now. This wasn't so hard after all. Well you guys are the masters at this. In case you were wondering, This is a clip from "The Simpsons" theme song.

I didn't no the two "eighth" notes on the single stem were played together. I was playing them as separate notes and it didn't add up. It all makes sense now. Once again, Thanks to all of you guys.
