I don`t think you can legally scan George Gershwin because he didn`t die over 70 years ago, so you`ll just have to wait 14 years and search for a copyright-free edition.

I don`t know... Practically anything to do with file sharing is illegal. Look at Kazaa.
It`s just that I`m so bloody frustrated... I`ve spent so much time looking for that particular piece, I`ve been to the biggest music conservatory in my city, and yet I still haven`t found it.
And to be honest, I must admit I don`t care if it`s illegal... It`s not poisonous or life-threatening to neither the supplier nor the person who requested the sheets.

Olga, all i can suggest is to try going to larger forums where nobody cares for pop sheetmusic. Only classical.
