My friend and I both play piano (grade 7) and would like to do a duet but we don't know of any good ones. Could someone please recommend some to us? Preferably something lively. :D Thanks!

Humoresqe(Dvorak), Anitra's Dance(Grieg), Barcarolle(Offenbach), Song of Inda(Rimsky-Korsakov), Serenede(Schubert), Marche Militaire(Schubert), and Traumerei(Schumann). These are all in a book called Piano Classics published by Main Street a divison of Sterling Publishing Co., Inc. There is also Hungarian Dance no. 5(Brahms) as a duet, but I don't know where you can find it.

Hope that helps. And fyi, Marche Militaire is probably the hardest one and it sounds great.

<Added>

Marche Militaire is also the most lively.

Heart and Soul is always a good one and its pretty easy to learn. Someone you know can probably teach it to you. I am in High School and my friend and i play it all the time.

I like heart and soul as well. I learned it in Grade 1 though, so it is extremely easy for both parts and its pretty repetive. I don't know of any other fancier ones, but me and my friends like making up our own.
