albeniz is nice too..but if we`re on the category on Spanish composers..i like Granados a tad bit more....and yea...i love Chopin`s scherzos as well...i dont know if the c sharp minor one is as hard as it seems...but i`ve only attempted his b flat minor...i don`t think they can b that that difficult that i will be frustrated

out of interest, alex why do you prefer granados` music out of any other spanish composer? I like Albeniz` beautiful tunes and dancing rhythms (look at Iberia, etc)

well..i cant really describe in detail why...there is no certain feature about his music...all i can say is that i like his melodies a tad bit more...also...im more of a romantic...and though he lived around the contemporary era he was still showed works of romanticism...with a bit of impressionistic features...but dont get me wrong..Albeniz is sick...i dont have the right to say that he`s a bad composer because obviously he is not..i havent heard any works by the way by that other composer u have mentioned

NO COMPARISON. Someone already had it right. ANy professional piano player in the world knows that Ravel`s Jeux d`Eux is the hardest piece to play. Not only technically but musically. Not just anyone can master this piece. And certainly not someone who says they`re getting bored with music. You obviously just learn a piece and don`t perfect it....real musicians don`t make dumb statements like that

You foolish bunch of noobs!!! Do you really think those things are the hardest works ever? Idiots!!! If you want the hardest piece ever, look no further than Kabalevsky`s Clown. It`s phenomenal difficulty has never been mastered by any pianist.
Go practise it!!!

i agree with whoever said the liszt sonata in b minor would keep any1 busy...i think thats greatest developed piano piece he`s written...anyway..yea latchey..if u decide to learn a ballade from chopin..talking from what i`m reading of course..you should learn the 3rd A Flat Major one...the other 3 r pretty hard...especially the 4th
