13 and bored?

How about Godowsky Passacaglia. Even Vladimir Horowitz gave up on it, stating that it would require not 2 but 6 hands to perform. That should calm your ego.

Plus, you're obviously lying, and not fooling anyone. There is no way you are bored at 13. I bet you couldn't play a Liszt Transcendental etude correctly if you had a year to learn it.

Ok, here's some pieces I think are extremely Hard:

Liszt - Grand Galop
- Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6
- Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 (Volodos Transcription)
- La Campanella No. 3 (Hamelin's Transcription)

Mozart - Turkish March (Volodos again)

Rimsky Korsakov - Bumble Bee (Cziffra Transcription)

Godowsky - Studies on Chopins Etudes

Chopin - Ballade No. 4 in F minor

Rachmaninoff - Piano concerto No. 2

one of the hardest pieces in the world is the petrouchka by stravinsky, see, igor stravinsky wrote a ballet, and then put it onto the music for the piano
also, the third rachmaninoff concerto is extremely difficult
hey, and also the 2nd sonata by rachmaninoff is extremely long, and difficult,
by the way, God bless you, i'd like to know if you're a Christian, for Jesus saved my life and He can save yours too, God bless ya bye

I'd say Prelude in B Flat Major, op. 23 no. 2 by Rachmaninoff. I haven't seen the sheet music, but from listening to it a few times I know it would present a definite challenge.

Check out Leonardo Balada's Transparency of Chopin's first Ballade.

some of the most challenging pieces are probably:

Bachs Toccata and fugue in D Minor (Carl Tausig or Ferruccio Busoni arrangments) both are very difficult,

Franz Liszt transcriptions of Beethovens symphonies, most are very difficult, but i found the most trouble with the 4th movement in No.5

Rachmaninoff op.23 prelude no.9 played up to tempo

Those are the only ones I can think of right now.

Hope it hasn't been mentioned before but I'm convinced that Max Reger's variations and fugue on a theme by Bach (Op. 81) is the hardest piece. It makes the Rach 3 look like something from Anna Magdalenas notebook. Its available at the sheetmusicarchive if anyone wants to have a look. His intermezzos are fairly trick as well.

You're cocky - if you are serious (and so fortunate), may I suggest:
La camapanella (I have sheet music)
Hungarian Rhapsody 2 (I have sheet music)
Rachmaninoff's Concertos
Other Liszt pieces
Beethoven Moonlight 3 (played well)
Appasioanata

Perhaps you could take up my request to have someone play and record the "Voix du ciel" for me. Should be a doddle for you!

Rgds

I have been playing for a long time and I am classically trained. When everything seemed easy to me, I changed the genre and time signature. It spiced thing a little bit for a while. If you are playing classical songs, find a blues piece or new age and it will challenge you for a while. Also, changing the time signature works, it gets harder to keep track of time unless you have played a lot of pieces with a specific time signature.

Hungarian Rhapsody #2 in C#minor - Franz Liszt

Fantasie Impromptu - Chopin

The Chopin Balade in A flat is pretty rough, I forget which one.

If you really want a piece that will take a very long time to learn, try the Hungarian Rhapsody (or anything by Liszt for that matter, but Hungarian Rhapsody #2 is just so much fun).
