Hi everyone,

So, I'm never doing an exam again. I promised myself. I passed my DipABRSM last year and since then I've just decided to play for myself and try and reach the stage where I can play the pieces I've always loved but never been a sufficient standard (e.g. Hungarian Rhapsody 2, Chopin Ballades 1 and 4).

Essentially, I've always been someone who can understand and interpret music well but my fingers can't always produce the sound I know I want. I just don't have enough control, especially over my left hand. Can anyone point me to any exercises for someone of my level? (I'm working through Hanon's 3rd book right now).

(For those who don't know the standard of DipABRSM, I did Beethoven's Pathetique as one of my pieces. Other famous pieces on the repertoire are stuff like Chopin's 3rd Ballade).

Thank
