I`d love to play by ear, any tips,ppl?

hey,ppl! i`ve been learning the piano for 9 years now,and i`d like to try playing ny ear. kinda hard 4 me,more used to notes and chords.any tips?

I play by ear a lot! You said that you are used to chords, which is great! Learning chord progressions and which minor chords go with which major keys helped me a lot. E.G. C-G-F, Minors(Am Gm Dm)
just sit down and try to play around with chords

ive played 4 12 years, best thing 4 playing by ear, ure used 2 chords, use them, listen to whatever song you wanna learn, figure out what key, use your knowledge of chords to see what sounds right.
