Ask people in universities.
Ask people in music stores.

If yer got a good rythm (ie yer know wat crochet is....)
then u star off with easy pieces (saying this i believe that u know the notes !right?)and go to diff onesdo u get (look at tis site and start at beginner and go on to advanced ) and u should have a look at http://www.pitt.edu/~deben/freebies.html

The most important thing is to find a teacher. Piano is difficult to start with on your own without the guidance of a qualified teacher.

You should spare sometime, say 1 or 2 hours daily to practice the piano.

What you really want to do is #1, get a teacher. The teacher can guide you and help you not only learn the techniques but the theory of piano as well. About the songs, it`s a good idea to stay right on your level of playing until you can play recognizable tunes. (Such as an easy-piano arrangement of "The Entertainer) Once you reach that pick a song that really challenges you and work on that until you finish. Then keep on working out of the songbook but always have one or two songs that are a bit harder than the book does. The first few songs I recommend learning that are a little harder are like Fur Elise by Beethoven, Minuet in G by Bach, and Moonlight Sonata Mvmt. #1. If you practice a lot and get a knack for piano you might be playing Turkish March or Aufschwung within a couple of years.
Hope you can use alll that

I began piano last summer when my mother n\bought me a casio 61 key keyboard. I have learned to play all the A, B, C, and D level music. All u have 2do is believe in urself and practice alot! also try to give a flair to ur songs u learn. It makes u feel more comfortable. Have fun and good luck
