I can hit 9 consistently, but it takes me a second to get 10. But I could never do 10 in an actual piece at a reasonable speed.
P.S. Don`t worry, 606...when somebody makes an idiotic comment about how they`re not a pianist in this forum, you can`t be rude enough to them.

I can only just about reach a 9th, a 10th on a good day.
But my sister`s friend can apparently reach a 12th? From middle C, an octave up to the G... if you get what I mean...

I`m 13 and I can reach a 9th pretty easily and I can stretch to a 10th. But my hands are still growing so I figure I might be up to a 11th or 12th in a few years

I can reach all the 11ths, a twelfth is really pushing it, but I can do it.

Good lord, I always thought I had big hands...
I can reach an octave with my left hand, and 9 with my right.

Initially I could only comfortably reach the 9th, however when I did piano studies at the conservatorium of Music, my lecturer said "Don`t worry the sinuin tissue betweeen the thumb and index finger will stretch" so I would regularly stretch that tissue and now can comfortably play walking tenths with the left hand.

So regular stretching of the tissue will improve anyone.

By the way I can reach an 11th but many people can, however can use it comfortably.
Cheers Shannon
