How to work out chords

I`ve just started the piano but I don`t konw how to work out chords. I know most of the basics but chords I do not know.Please tell me how to work out chords because I don`t have a clu.

do u mean the order like G B D F A?

It just means that you play all of the notes at the same time.

Means to play C, E and G with you thumb, middle and pinky finger. It`s that simple. Although I reaaaallllllyyyyyy suggest that you get a teacher if you can`t just figure out what the chords mean through logic. (I didn`t mean it as an insult, just as a sincere suggestion)

It`s the logic that I don`t understand. My piano teacher tried to explain to me but I didn`t hav a clu what she meant.

It just means play two or more keys at the same time. That`s all it is.
