Riverside Community College Marching Tigers will host a Percussion Clinic on Sunday, October 12th from 11AM to 5PM. Guest clinicians will include Scott Johnson, Sean Vega and Pete Sapadin.

SCOTT JOHNSON
Nationally known as the percussion caption head for the 11-time DCI Champion Blue Devils, Scott has produced dozens of outstanding outdoor percussion ensembles over the years. Come out and hear all about his approach to the "Art of Warming Up & Tuning." Scott will use the RCC Drumline as he discusses and demonstrates various exercises and techniques. Mr. Johnson appears courtesy of Dynasty, Vic Firth, REMO Inc, and Zildjian

SEAN VEGA
A former DCI national champion quad player, Sean is the new percussion caption head at Riverside Community College and continues as a staff member with the Blue Devils.. As a writer, teacher and clinician, Sean travels the country for Dynasty and Vic Firth, presenting his exciting seminar on quad technique.

PETE SAPADIN
Come out and find out what snare drumming is all about from one of the masters! Pete is a former member of the Concord Blue Devils and teaches at several SoCal high schools.

At the end of the clinic, RCC`s award winning Drumline and Pit will perform their new fieldshow in a standstill performance. There will be giveaways, food, Latin Percussion performances, as well as solo performances from Sean Vega, and Ivan from the Blue Devils!!!

Clinic Fee is $15.00 per/person with advance registration. $20.00 At the Door. $10.00 for group discount with 5 or more students from one school paying by one check.

RCC has appeared in countless movies, t.v. shows, and was even featured in JC Chasez`s "Blowin` Me Up With Your Love" from the movie Drumline. RCC`s winter line were the 2002 WGI Finals Gold Medalists, and 2003 WGI Finals Silver Medalists. RCC`s marching band can also be seen as the High School Marching Band for the show American Dreams, as well as Boston Public. RCC has also been Austin Powers, American Pie 2, The Truman Show, and Ready to Rumble.
