I have about 5 songs I need to transcribe to snare, quads, bass and cymbals.

My marching drum line wants to play them.

The songs are:

1. Whoa
2. Hey Ya! (Outkast)
3. I like the way you move! (Outkast)
4. Uh Oh
5. Slow Jams
6. Salt shaker

Even if you know where I can go to have this done is fine! I`m a woodwind player so this is totally new to me.

They picked up the beats or main beats while listening to the songs today so know it`s getting the music.

some people can listen to a song on the radio/CD and get the basic pattern from that, because they can hear the individual instruments. if you have a percussionist friend who can do that, get him/her to try. i can do that kind of thing except i don`t have any of those songs on CD (or even heard of some of them!)
don`t forget, some drum beats are synthesized and you may not get that kind of sound on a real kit.

midinotate will transcribe it but the drums will all be on one staf line so you`d have to figure out which drums go to which part. but it gives you the beat and everything. it also does the other instruments. one catch tho it has to be a midi file
