Hi, I am a new subscriber today. I know absoutly nothing about music. I need all of the help I can get. My daughter is getting married in June. A google researcher helped us find the Prelude from" Te Deum" and another 8 notes. My daughter has hired a string quartet to play for the wedding and they need this music. Here is my question. This is just one page. Isn`t that really short to walk down the isle with? Does anyone know if there is more to it?
Thanks from a dummy,
Carole

I`ve played Te Deum. It isn`t very long, just 2 sections and then a recap of the top section. You just repeat it until the bride gets to the altar. Is she using another piece for the bridesmaids?
Good luck to you!

And also: your quartet is very lucky or just demanding -- when I lead a string quartet I`m always required to get the sheet music. We keep piles and piles of it for just that purpose; I`ve rarely seen a client supply string quartet music. There have been times they would supply a lead sheet and someone would arrange it for our quartet, but mostly we`re responsible for our own music.
