His main axe is soprano, but he`s pretty good on tenor and alto, too. Not ever heard on him one baritone, though. According to mouthpieceheaven.com, on soprano, he`s got a Mark VI with a Dukoff D8. On alto he has another Mark VI with a Beechler S5S, and on tenor he has yet another Mark VI with a RIA Metal #8. On all horns he plays Hemke 2.5`s.

hehehe... i`m sorry, but i must agree with the above. just because he can play the instrument doesn`t mean his music is any good. please don`t praise that man.

Sorry, Kenny G. can NOT play the saxophone. Why do you think he puts it in the side of his mouth? Because he`s getting the mouthpiece completely out of the way of tongue; that`s why. He never learned to tongue. He can lip one flurry of random diatonic pitches or so in one key or so and sticks it in in random places, and it impresses the EXTREMELY credulous. Face it. The guy is phony through and through.

circular breathing... you have to admit that is immpresive, but it does not entirely make up for his... faults. I wonder is he really can play, or just is making so much money it doesn`t matter. If someone offered me money to play only blues scales with crappy background music and get rich, i`d be up for it. (though not the hair and homo look) There are obviously hard feelings about this guy.

Unless Kenny G suddenly learned when I wasn`t looking, he CANNOT play the saxophone. Circular breathing is a circus trick.

Re: "I think a lot of people are jealous because of his accomplishments," and "I wonder is he really can play...."

Look, I immediately knew no-last-name couldn`t play the very first time I saw him on the Johnny Carson show, before anyone had heard of him. There were no "accomplishments" to be "jealous" of, and I didn`t have to "wonder" if he could play; it was embarrassingly obvious that he couldn`t.

Re: "circular breathing... you have to admit that is immpresive..."

I have to do no such thing. Anyone who can swim can easily learn to perform this circus trick.

Re: "...but it does not entirely make up for his... faults...."

It doesn`t atone for any of them at all in any way.

You know Scotch, I have been reading a lot of your posts in many different forums and I just don`t understand you. You have got to be a very miserable person. I hope you cheer up, life is too short to be so crabby all the time.

Kenny G gets on my nerves and I never did like his music. Did anyone see the episode of south park where they made fun of him? That was hilarious!
