Ok I know that the Battle of the Saxes is supposed to be over. But my freind who plays the Tenor thinks that Tenors should get the melody more often. I said that doesn't make any sense considoring that the Alto goes higher and is more in tune with other instruments than the Tenor. What do you guys think? (Alto is da beast)

We've ended this, lets just leave it.
plus alto tends to get pretty outta tune on high notes.
i've heard more out of tune altos then tenors.
