does anyone have any idea, or a sample of music for alto saxophone at the eighth grade level of RCM ?
i need to know, because audition pieces for university should be at an eighth grade level, and im not going for a few years, but im curious about the level i need to work up to.

Is this a British or an American university or some other? As a Brit, I would take RCM to mean Royal College (rather than conservatoire) of Music, and grade 8 as being the equivalent of the ABRSM Grade 8 - a very high level of proficiency (and you'd probably need a higher level than this to have a chance of getting in at RCM).
