What is your saxophone setup?(Type of sax, type of mouthpiece, strength of reed, brand of reed, and ligature.)

It can simply be your embrochure that makes all the difference to produce a deep rich powerful tone. Also it really helps if you practice in a room with hard tiles on the floor and glossy paint on the walls. In my house that is the kitchen. The hard surfaces reflect the sound instead of absorbing it and your sax will sound 100 times more powerful.

There can be various reasons for this -

Maybe the horn needs attention - misadjustments & leaky pads will cause problems.

Lack of breath support. Maybe mouthpiece & reeds don't suit you.
