Yes! The sheet music exists.
You can do a search for "Local Hero Going home sheet music" and there are a bunch of immediate downloads for just a couple of bucks.

OR
if you have the recording write it out. Something we all should practice doing more often anyway.

You know, when I was in college my first music theory professor on our first day of class made us clear everything off our desks. She then handed out a cocktail napkin. She said we could use a pen or pencil. She then walked over to the record player (CD's hadn't been developed yet). She said, "write down what you hear" and then put the neddle down on the record. She played the WHOLE thing!!

When it was over she said, "When you are through with my class you will be able to go to a concert and write out the entire concert on a cocktail napkin. Come back to class and werite out the entire music you heard."

And she was correct. Nah, I can't do it today I'm out of practice but that was our final; to go to a concert with a piece of papaer folded into a 4 inch square, take notes, and come back to the class room and write it out in full score. Fun Days!!!!

i wish i was at the stage where i could write music on a napkin, unfortunantly not!

ive search the net for ages trying to find this sheet music but have never found it!

Well, purchase the piano part and then write out the melody for saxophone.

Or you could goto JW Pepper or some other band music publisher and purchase the whole combo arrangement for $50 or so and then you would have all the parts, including saxophone.
