If you really want to know what a good beginning saxophone is,talk to a music expert or google the brand and look at product reviews.

I personally recommend a yamaha,I've used mine for three years, and I got it used, and it's been holding up great.Selmer saxes are fine too.

But still, just look at product reviews, brand reviews,or talk to a music expert.

That is not very good I know some people with it and it breaks very easily and does not have a good sound compared to other saxes.

If you are going to play for a year or two then it is okay but if you have any intention of using it for longer buy something else maybe a bundy.

I won't be able to help you on this subject. I started out playing an Armstrong sax. A Jupiter or Keilwerth sax would be good too. Saxophones can be expensive so make sure you buy a good one and i hope you are going to stick with the instrument otherwise you would be wasting your money.

Defiantly not. You can get a much better saxophone for that price, maybe alittle more. If your ok with Vintage, look at martin and conn. A Martin "skyline", medalist, or Indiana can be had for around $300 on ebay if you look. These have huge sound, alittle dated key work but they wont fall apart and you will be able to play it for years.

The sax your looking at was probably made in china, or maybe Taiwan. Stay away from these. The metal is soft, making it easily bent, meaning more trips to the shop. These can cost more then the horn is worth. Sometimes the damage done is not repairable. Stay away from the colored, cheap and strange chinese brands. You might save in the beginning but in the end, you could end up spending more then if you would have gotten a better horn.
