Hey guys, I'm saving fund for a yamaha 3C tenor sax mouthpiece. But my tenor is not a yamaha one. Is a yamaha tenor mpc for a yamaha tenor sax only? Many says a yamaha trumpet needs a yamaha mpc.because it is made of special metal and better partnered with same brand mpc.

Is it the same as in the tenor sax? Do you know if all yamaha instruments need the same brand of mouthpiece only because they are built with special materials?
