I am a complete beginner, and I was wondering, when my dad gets his sax for christmas, are there any tips I can give him on how to get a fairly nice sound out? How your chin should be..... etc etc....

Tell him to play with as much as possible without overblowing, then tell him to push with his diaphragm....the muscles he takes a crap with....and that the saxophone mthpc should come straight at him, not pointing up....that`s about it, also, top teethe go on the mthpc. and you keep the lower lip rolled over the teeth and tight.
