What`s up you guys? I`m a alto saxophonist. I`ve basically taught myself, but if yall want to try something challenging.......try popping in a Jr. Walker cd. If yall are into jazz, if yall have the ears, go for it. That`s all I`m going to say. Yes, I know Jr. Walker played the tenor, but.....that just makes it more challenging. If you can learn "What Does it Take?!" or "Cleo`s Mood" You will realize that you have learned alot of new techniques. I will not name the techniques though. Btw, I`m in the 11th grade.

umm well guess what im in 9th grade. well i found a buch of sheet music such as mario theme song, zelda theme and donkey kong theme song buy getting a midi editor such as noteworthy and downloading midi music. then i take the staffs i dont want out or combine them. Very simple then i transpose it 4 semitones so i cant play it on my sax.

HI im in 7th grade and the stuff were playing is so easy. Iplay the alto sax. Im with the 8th grade band thought. I wanted to get the sheet music for louie louie but now, I just want some =thing a lot more chalenging. If anybody knows where to get challenging music,please tell me.

Oh man you guys are so cool, im in 7th grade and really like it if some cool dude would post a site or somthing for me 2 go 2 for alto sax music cuz my conductor is trying 2 catch every1 up from the summer! Hey I`m in 8th grade as well. I play Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Flute, Clarinet, and Oboe. You can`t find any challenging free music online. In our band, we don`t get popular songs like James Bond and Harry Potter... We have some pretty random music but it sounds good.

If you can, I would recommend the songs to your band director:
Gamelan (Walter Cummings)
This song has awesome Alto Sax and Clarinet parts.
Legend of Knife River (Stephen Bulla)
This one also has some pretty neat Alto Sax and Clarinet parts.
Santa Fe Trail (Tom O`Connor)
This ones REALLY upbeat, it`s pretty fast.

I am playing the lord of the rings too. i love our part before gollum. I am also playing cyclorama, lest we forget, and military escort. Cyclorama is crazy hard and the other two are really easy. But cyclorama is like half rests so it only is fun to play as a band. me and my friend brent write our own music but it sucks. lol o btw im in 8th grade. this is weird with all the 8th graders.
