okay so i randomally got a cheap recorder today case i was bored and wanted to try it. okay so i play the flute is the fingering similar? can anyone help me, tips, sheet music anything..help

the flute fingering is very similar to the recorder....i too play the flute and started recorder for fun.....

if you want sheet music you can check out the music on this site (8notes) for recorder, and also look around this forum many people have posted notes for different songs and tunes.
also check out this sites which have sheet music...maybe not all for recorder but its still fun.
