Hi all, I'm new to recorder but am extremely frustrated due to my inability to get these two notes right. I'm not sure if the problem is my fingering or the recorder, but I'm only able to hit these notes about 30% of the time even when I'm putting maximum effort into covering every hole. I have large hands too so I don't see why this should be such a problem. I don't have trouble with any other notes, so I'm wondering if this may be due to a defected recorder? I have a plastic Aulos descant.

Maybe it`s because your recorder is plastic but i think that you must in this tunes play softly. Maybe....just try it play everything easier (sorry for my english, but i think that i know about what i am talking i play recorder for 11 years but still....still i am not professional) :-)
