Hello, I `m just a beginner. I play soprano recorder which is key C and have some sheet music. Last week I bought Yamaha alto 302B because I prefer the lower tone.
I`ve just known that alto-recorder is key F recorder, which mean the fingering is different from my old soprano one. When I close all hole, it plays F. Umm , I have some questions

- I don`t want to train for a new fingering method. Can I pretend to use my alto recorder like my soprano one? i.e close all hole when I play "C".
- How can I play "C" on the alto recorder? because the lowerest note is `F`?
- How about my old sheet music can I use it with my new alto one

Thank you very much for any suggestion
