I have got potential, though i never get the chance to sing. I am developing my voice (i'm only 13), its pretty good. Though everytime i go to sing, everyone takes the mickey out of me. So where should i start?

All due respect,
Floyd.

If there are any choirs in your area that is a good place to start, (although it does depend a bit on whether your voice has broken.) A choir will provide you with some instruction, and will put you in touch with other singers, most importantly, it will get you singing. Alternatively try and find out if there are music schools in your area, these often also offer courses, and are cheaper than private tuition.

i agree.. choir is a good start.
you'll meet loads of people who are just like you, singers.
just always believe in yourself. don't let others put you down, if you think you have a potential in singing, then go for it!
practice more and learn your own style.
it is best to know your voice range first so you can have an idea which song fits you best.
