Hey i am goin on a holiday and so our family r savin n dont hav the money for singin lessons... i enjoy singin and take part at my church, alot say i have talent but i find my nerves get the better of me when im around people, i do sing quite well round ma family n close friends but id like to spread that talent to others, n i need to be able to control my nerves and voice first, has ne 1 got ne tips for me????

I had almost the same problem when I was in forensics. I usually never talked to people, but I faced my fear and gave my speech anyway and almost went to state. My biggest help is this: If the audience doesn't seem nervous, why should you be? It also helps to think that you are just singing, talking, or whatever to only your friends and family. And no matter how nervous you are, stand strong, and things will be o.k.
