Can anyone give me some hints/tips/resources to master the blues "growl?" I'm sure you've heard it (if you've ever listened to older blues vocalists). I'm not asking for the constant, smokey tone, my voice is incapable of it. I'm looking for that dirty note feel, listen to some Ray Charles for a generic example. Thanks in advance.
