Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me...
My friend suggested that I take voice lessons. Trouble is, I'm not really sure if there's anyone in my area. Is there a website that anyone could recommend to help me find a teacher?
Much appreciated!

Oh, and check out the video on "oboclar"'s profile!! She put a video of me singing, and I'm desperately searching for opinions!!
Also much appreciated!

Oopsie...
(jeez Ive added on a lot...)
I just figured out that right below this post it shows the forum that my friend put the video on. We spelled "singers" wrong so it says "signers" (Aha). The title of the forum is "signers opinions wanted" or something close to that. It says it at the bottom of the page!~
Also (also) much appreciated!

I don't know of any good websites. Maybe you could google. But, in general, music teachers have connections. So your piano teacher might know someone who might know someone who knows a voice teacher. Just ask around. Also maybe check some local schools and colleges for choral directors who might also teach lessons privately. I know that's not exactly the advice your looking for but I hoped that helped.

I "tried" to watch the video but we have dial up so it played a couple seconds, stopped, played more, stopped and so on. But I still thought it was pretty good. I'm no expert but I do take voice lessons. Get a good voice teacher and you should reach your potential. Keep at it!

I just listened to your recording, and you have a beautiful natural voice, and it sounds like you'd be very teachable! I would definitely encourage you to take some lessons! What city do you live in? Maybe I can recommend a teacher there.

I've noticed that this forum is pretty quiet. So, I guess I'll bring up another subject. What kind of music do you like to sing?

J pop is Japanese pop right? I have a Japanese American friend, who recently moved to America permanently for highschool. Her dad is Japanese, her mom American. I've heard a fair share of J pop. Her favorite group is Orange Range. I like to sing pop and rock, but not as much as broadway, jazz, and classical.

I thought your video was really good! I wonder would anyone put a bad comment on it? Anyways, don't listen to them, you have a great voice! Not that your not great right now, but with a few lessons you could be really great!
