Well, first off it helps if you can spell teacher right (jk). If you really want to be a teacher PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!! Don`t forget that most orchestras have brass and woodwinds as well as strings and percusion. You have plenty of time to learn, but eventually it would help to play or at least have an understanding of brass and woodwinds. Does your school have an orchestra (or band)? If so, ask the director to let you try directing for awhile to help you decide if you really like it. If your high school has a marching band you should try out for drum major.
