i have a question as to where to put your hand in the bell of the french horn. i've been playing some time now and will be a junior in highschool. i started on french horn in the 6th grade and my band director at that time told me to put in the top part of the bell. but then i my school got a new band director and he told me to put it in the bottom part of the bell. i think it should go in the bottom of the bell palm up, b/c i can tune by ear that way and adjust.

Any advice would be great!
