ok, so i'm working on the last page of my marching music, since band camp starts in a week, and the part i'm working on now is a weird "Battle Hymn Swing". so, what's a "drop"? it's a half note, with a squiggly that i usually'd associate with a gliss or something, going down, and says drop.

anyone know what this means or how i'd do this?

Same thing as a downward gliss. It can also be called "fall" or "rip". It just different jargon for the same effect.
