Ok I already tried out in my high school band and all county. But I need to start practicing for next year. I didn't make all county because of my scales btw. Do these come just with practice? because I always get my stuff mixed up while playing.
Have any tips on scales? My main trouble isn't remembering the notes it's playing all 12 in 2-minutes... I'm way to slow. range isn't a problem. Any tips are appreciated. =]

A metronome will be your best friend if you do this:
Set the metronome to the speed at which you can most comfortably play your scales. Everytime you play them all perfectly at this speed, turn the metronome up to the next speed. Keep doing this until you get to the necessary speed.
