So I made it into all state for horn, and Im very excited, but there is one specific section I keep craking on in, "Song of hope".
In the main theme horn shares with clarinet, I keep cracking C(below staff) to A(on staff). Ive tried singing the part, playing on my mouthpiece only, and I cant slur the whole thing because it already is .

I've found that if I'm having trouble with a particular note (or notes) during my warmup, I'll play those notes stopped going from fff - ppp on quarter notes. If the note breaks on any dynamic, stop and practice that note at that dynamic stopped until it clears up. Then play any passage those notes are in stopped.
