I inherited a Frank Holton & Co. mellophone. The serial number is 5818 and the best I can find indicates that it dates to 1908 or '09.
I don't know if it's appropriate to ask or not, but I'm trying to find a value for it. I want to sell it as I don't play and I don't want to give away a valuable and unique antique. I cannot find any other examples to compare it to. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
