Ok, this is yet another attempt in an ongoing attempt to rediscover a piece I've never heard in any film or on the radio or anything (so it might be somewhat obscure). I once found a cassette tape labeled "Classical Meditation 4" in handwriting. On this tape i heard a piece of music that moved me more than anything I've ever heard in my life. This tape became inseparable from me for months, until one day I just couldn't find it. I've been looking for this melody for years now, and I'm really hoping someone could help me. I'm afraid I don't know the composer or anything about the piece other than one of the central melodies. If any of you have a keyboard handy it goes very slowly
b b c b c d c g a g a b b..... b b c b c e d c b c g(#) b(#) c g g...
I'm sorry i can't be more specific, and I wish i could hum it or something but that really wouldn't work. I've been humming this friggin song for over 3 years and I think I'm starting to go insane, so any help would be lovely.
Cheers.
BTW i don't know if this is the actual key it was in... this is the way with the least amount of sharps and such, so it was easier to write without it looking like a mess... those b's sound more accurate as g's though, if that helps at all. Thanks again.
