I'm currently writing out chords for my solo on tenor sax (b-flat). I understand how to write out chords for minors, dominants, diminutive, and even []9ths, but I am unsure of how to get the chords from a []13 scale (specifically G13).
Do I just add the 13 note or the 9 and 13 note?
Or....what?

Take your G chord and place it in 2nd inversion. Make your 3rd the 2nd (9th), and you 5th the 4th(11th),place your 13th below your 7th.

So your chord will be G, E, F, A, C.

Another way to look at it is take the name of your chord "G", use the realtive minor name "E" and play 1,2,3,4, and 6.
