I`d just like to know how to do some fancy tricks on the clarinet, like growling, bending, good vibrato, glisandoes etc. Please reply to this. I`d also like some pointers on improvising on the clarinet in a jazz band.

hah well im definatly no expert but i play jazz piano and concert clarinet- but of course i have learned the ever famous gershwin slide! : p
normaly- if you half hole a note you get a airy soud BUT!
if you try saying `eee` as in "beet" and kinda clinching the back of your throat while sliding your fingers up a scale this way the "in between" notes will sound. It will sound like a smooth glide.
