I have a music hater, and I need to set him straight!

Why do you listen to music?
-to relate/emotional connection
-or just to relax/backround music

I don`t know, if I should be honest. I think it is different from time to time. Sometimes I just have a background and sometimes I`ve been longing to hear a certaine piece `cause I like it or `cause it`s stuck inside my head. Sometimes I study the music I listen to, so I listen to music for a lot of reasons.

For myself, i like listening to Sly & the family stone, just to make a background when i`m spankin the monkey and so my roommates dont hear me.
Stupid question, stupid answer.
