During the recent VMA`s, Green Day won 7 awards for their album `American Idiot`.. a political album with anti-war music videos such as `Wake Me Up When September Ends`... yet during each win, not 1 member of Green Day stepped up and said something anti-bush or anti-war.. yet they were accepting awards for an anti-war album.... Funny, they can say it on their cd, but when it comes time to say it during something important.. they back down...

They gave an opinion that isn`t their own and they get paid for it. it`s funny , actually. Green day is lying by acusing Bush of lying when that isnt their true feeling. Whether Bush is a liar or not, here`s a royal bitch-slap to Green Day.

I LOVE AMERICA.....are only "reliable resources" are entirely dependent on green day and bush...........isn`t it great. There was probably some ignorant teenager sitting on their couch and said " hey, just for fun, let`s listen to green day and wear their shirts." Then it was cool to listen to tasteless, save-the-world-one-day-at-a-time, stupid alternative/punk music and wear tight=black pants and eyeliner with a silk red tie....only then did it start.green day is .......green day.

I Agree, I love America. I don`t really see whats so wrong about our government, sure theres problems but there always will be. Greenday sucks and so does every other band that gets too politcal. I dont want to hear politics in my music.

i dread to think what some of the bands you listen to probably ones that are teling you that it is good to die or something like that
greenday are one of the bands that are stil around and havent split after all the years that they have been togther so well you shouldnt take for grated that they might not say the lyrics you want but who cares they am still famous and alot of people support them

i dont see many of you lot being famous and making a hell loads of money now so HAHAHa!

umm.... no! I will agree that there old music is better, but not that they are a fake band... they have spoken up against bush in the past not just in there music! anyways whats the matter wid a fake band if there music is cool?
