hmmmm or maybe it's cause i've listened to them and their new album is the best of their's I've heard since vitaology. Makes sense why I'd like bands like The Mars Volta, The Velvet Underground and Thursday, they're all mega popular. Albums sell for reasons !****!. Just because and album sells a lot doesn't mean it's magically bad or the best album ever. And 2 of my favorite PJ songs come off of the crappy string of albums (Given to Fly and I am Mine), both great songs, but the albums were crap, so don't give me any of your !*****! ass bullshit.

4 1/2 stars from Rolling Stone magazine out of 5... an 8.5 rating from Pitchfork Media, overall one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the decade, & a hell of a lot better than anything Zeppelin did - Go back & listen to Yield again & I think you'd agree whether or not you'd admit it.. As for Riot Act? yea, its their worst album... Still better than Presence though.

And by "popular" I mean trendy, & mars volta is trendy as hell.

Are you kidding me? Presence has Achilles Last Stand on it which is one of Zeppelins best songs. Even the mediocre tracks on that album are better than anything Pearl Jam can do.

You speak BLASPHEMY!!! in no way shape or form is Pearl Jam better than Zepp. or pink floyd and if u say that tool "Sold Out" yeah they did they sold out every night on there tour in less than an hour. Pearl jam isnt bad but lets move out of the Grungy 90's, and find some music that has a little fun.
