Iggy Pop ain't called the godfather of punk for nothing babes! He was way before then the class or sex pistols! yup maybe iggy changed his style in the 80's but the early iggy is still the greatest punk ever made!

Green Day is just a very market savvy form of punk (very poppy *%$#)
most strait punk bands sounds pretty much the same to me (vocally mainly) so all the punk bands i like just use some bits of punk

but those are only vaugly punk rockish

The Clash have some nice punk rock. Not too much of a fan, but iits better than the rest of punk I've heard.

Post punk is the best. Got the same attitude as punk, but far more lyrically and musically advanced.

i kno most people dont consider blink 182 punk rock, n i dont rly...i mostly lik propaghandi(stuff lik that) but blink 182 changed my lif from the time i was in middle school, n deserve more credit than they get,, n u cnt say they suck if u havnt heard most of their early stuff, dont base ur opinion of a few of there worst songs
