No, it's also sometimes about some Girl who dumped them, how the media and adults are "brainwashing" every one, "phoney" people (Catcher In The Rye  addicts), or how they're supposedly "rebels". Oh right and the whole "No one knows how I feel" attitude is also included in there somewhere.

 you kno, everyone has problems, not just the emo kids... seriously, what are they trying to prove? i mean, maybe these kids are in some serious !***! or somethin, but who isn't? i hate my life sometimes, but i don't go around acting all depressed like my life sux worse than everyone else's. i try to deal with it to make it better. and i'm not trying to stereotype the emo's, i'm just trying to say don't be such a pessimist.
 my point is, everyone has problems, so don't act like you are worse off than other people because a lot of people get dumped, a lot of people are against media, etc, etc.
