Notice now i said that franz ferdinand has potential. Well i just had 2 radio stations play their hit "take me out" as i drove for maybe 30 mins today. Take me out is very good, but i dont think its my favorite. its mos def their most poppy song, but auf asche is better.
does/has anyone heard them? Opinoins?

How can you argue this fact? Queen started a whole new era for music. I agree, the Beatles were great, but Queen was just the best. Freddie Mercury was, and always will be, the greatest musiscian ever, close to Elvis, who is the greatest singer of all time.

Not saying these guys are the greatest band in the world but worth listening to......... Franz Ferdinand and Snow Patrol , just got their cds and wow they are good. Best new music I have heard in a year and a half since I listend to The Tea Party for the first time.
Oh for old bands... Creedance Clearwater gets my vote

If you are looking for a new band to listen to that is great, but not yet the one of the best ever, check out The Darkness. These guys are amazing. They have potential to one of the best of all time. Greatest New Band I have heard forever.

spiritually, i think led zepilen should be the greatest of all rocker bands due to the reason that thier music conveys so much freedom and leads us to different aspect of sense.
