Velvet Underground. It`s been said that everyone who listened to them in the sixties (they were way ahead of their time so the number was small) later formed his own rock group. I believe it.
The very first album, "Velvet Underground and Nico" featured Andy Warhol`s famous yellow banana cover. Unpeel and enjoy the delicious interior!

Its between 3 bands for me....
1) Led Zeppelin- simply the best riffs and vocals of all time.
2) Radiohead- most intelligent music ever written, every song has a hidden meaning.
3) The Beatles- Cant argue with the stats. changed Rock forever

who ever says Good Charlotte or Linkin Park are the Greatest of all time...im sorry but what medication are you on? yes i kno all of this "they are entitled to their opinions" stuff but honestly, who in their right mind would place Modern punk garbage abpove the likes of the stones, Led Zep or even The Beatles?????!!!!!!!! you either need to broaden your horizons musicly or commit yourself to a nuthouse.
