I would definitely recommend Black Label Society (and/or) Zakk Wylde, Rob Zombie, and Nirvana. You probably already have Nirvana, but I don't think anyone has mentioned them yet.

R.E.M. is really good, too. Try "Shiny Happy People", "Orange Crush", "Losing My Religion", or "Man on the Moon".

'The great beyond' and 'its the end of the world as we know it' are two other great R.E.M songs.

Got any Mother Love Bone? You might do as their another grunge band. Look for 'this is shangrila', 'Stardog champion', 'Holy Roller', 'Come bite the apple', 'heart shine' and 'captain hi-top'. all good songs

Avenged Sevenfold is the sex. their new album comes out in October. Don't buy City Of Evil unless you like "Bat Country". other than that, Waking the Fallen is my fav. album of the 3. the other one is Sounding the Seventh Trumpet. That one sounds more alternative, but Warmness on the Soul is the best song they have.

Yeah apparently avenged sevenfold is pretty good. A friend showed me one of their videos once. i don't know much about them but they say they're really cool.
i am going to say Velvet Revolver because Slash is my favourite Gunner. maybe you've heard "fall to pieces"? that's from their old album. their new one came out not long ago. i like a lot of the songs on it like "she builds quick machines" and "pills, demons & etc".
