As far as newer rock bands, i think dragonforce is probably the better one. Although most of the great rock bands were in the 70s and 80s. I personnally think that BlAck Sabbath is the greatest up an until Dio started to sing. As soon as Dio joined, I started to listen to Ozzy with Randy Rhoads. Although my favorite rock band is more of Heavy Metal. Led Zepelin and Lynyrd Skynrd or very great bands too. Queen was a very good one too. But there so many other great rock bands out there, dont restrict yourself to what we on 8notes say. lol.

The Mint Chicks

I'm majorly old school, like 60s 70s old school, but the mint chicks are cool.

to put it simple as far as old bands go, blacksabbath, acdc, van halen, rolling stones, aero smith, queen, pink floid, quiet riot, poision, twisted sister, ozzy, ect. newer bands like rob zombie, disturbed, and dragon force, not really sure about dragon force, but im pretty sure its rock, way sure lol, good luck with finding some good rock music!

Seriously, if you like any of those bands, you need to check out The Matches. They are signed on epitaph records, and honestly, I swear by them. They are actually releasing a new cd tomorrow,
