All the hard work paid off … Luna Halo’s self titled, American Recordings album will be released on October 30th. The sound of Luna Halo is tight and dynamic. The eleven tracks on the album fuse together to radiate their collective passion. This band is influenced by many but the sound of their album is very unique. The members of the band are: Nathan Barlowe, Cary Barlowe, Aaron Jenkins and Chris Coleman.

It was Nathan Barlowe’s dreams that pursued him to move out of his hometown in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was driven by his passion for music. He moved to Nashville and after a few years it was there where Luna Halo originated. Unfortunately, the members of the band parted ways and Nathan had to start over. This did not leave Nathan standing still, now he had stronger ambitions and was determined to take the name Luna Halo all the way!

Nathan started writing songs since the age of fourteen. “I’ve always written from the moment that I’m in, like taking a snapshot of my emotions,” says Barlowe. “I’ve never been the kind of person who sits down and writes stories or anything like that. The songs on this album are an honest look at my life, with no filters at all.” Barlow wants the audience to feel like a part of the stories he is unfolding. Luna Halo’s unique sound and ability to transmit emotions through their songs is probably what caught the eye of famous producer Rick Rubin, who signed the band to his American Recordings label. “I usually wake up hearing music in my head. I can’t tell you how many times it has been a Luna Halo song,” says Rubin.

“I’m definitely proud of this album because I think it shows how much we’ve grown over the years -- and how we stand out from the pack in a lot of ways. But while it definitely captures what I’ve always envisioned Luna Halo to be, I know it’s not the final picture -- we’re not going to stop evolving.”
